Welcome back for the 2019-2020 school year! I am beginning my eighth year at West Alexander Middle School as a Career and Technical Education teacher. I am a Lenoir-Rhyne University graduate and have lived in Alexander county with my wife and 2 dogs for roughly 7 years. We recently had our first child, Julianne, this summer and have thoroughly enjoyed being parents. My hobbies and outside activities include long distance running, cycling, playing guitar, traveling and reading.
Each day, students will have their assignment posted on their Google Classroom page. Students can access their Google Classroom page on their chromebooks, or by using this link. I will be using Paxton Patterson's learning management system for all of my classes, which can be found here. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org. All links to websites students will need can be found at the bottom of this webpage.
Students enrolled in my class will be using a College and Career Ready Action Lab. There will be 10 stations, listed below, that students will complete during their time at WAMS. I am eager to begin these hands-on modules and know your child will enjoy them, too!
