Hello and welcome to my homepage.  This is my 30th year at East and it is a wonderful place to teach. I grew up not far from here in Kingsport, Tennessee. I graduated from East Tennessee University where I played volleyball for 4 years.  I continued my education at Western Kentucky University where I served as the assistant volleyball coach and obtained my masters' degree. Before coming to EAMS I taught at Lenoir Rhyne University and was the head volleyball and softball coach for 5 years.  I am a nationally board certified teacher and have been through the renewal process 2 additional times. I wear many hats here at EAMS as I am the Athletic Director and volleyball and coach.  I reside in Conover and I have one daughter, Terriona, who is a Sophomore at Alexander Central High School.  I am an avid Tennessee Volunteer fan and enjoy working in my yard in my free time.
