4th Grade

I have lived in Alexander County for most of my life and am a high school graduate of ACHS.  I am entering my 17th (2017-18) year of teaching.  All my years in teaching have been spent at Taylorsville Elementary.  I have taught 3rd, 4th, and just began my first year in 5th grade.  I attended Appalachian State University and received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and my Master's Degree in Reading (K-12).  I obtained my National Board Certification in 2005.  I am married to Scott and have a little girl named Zoe.  We live in the Ellendale community.
