1st/2nd Grade

I have more than 20 years of teaching experience at Taylorsville Elementary. I have taught kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. I earned my teaching degree from Appalachian State University and have received National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Certification. My favorite subjects are reading and math.

I have lived in Alexander County most of my life. I attended Taylorsville Elementary School, East Alexander, and graduated from Alexander Central. I live in the Ellendale community with my husband, Darin, our children, Katie and Bodie, and our dogs Pepper and Rudy.
