Mrs. Leslie Barger

Hello! I'm Mrs. Barger

I have been teaching at ACHS since 2001. I have a BS in Industrial Chemistry and MAEd in Secondary Science Education. I have always liked science and enjoy teaching science. My goal is for my students to see the importance of science in their daily lives. I hope that science becomes useful and meaningful to all of my students.

Everything that we do is on Canvas this year. Please ask your son/daughter to show you how to access this site (directions below). Since we are operating under Plan B, it is very important that we have good communication. During the first week of school we will be focusing on the technology we need to use and doing some online assignments. All of this information will be on Canvas. We will work this out together and be patient with one another as we learn. Please see the class supply list below.

Please contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for your understanding and commitment to excellence!
