I have been employed with Alexander County Schools since 1996.  My goal is to see all students succeed.  I believe in my students and I know they can learn.  I look forward to coming to work each day. 

My family consists of a daughter (Tiffany) and her husband Bobby.  They have blessed me with two grandsons and a granddaughter. I also have a son (Josh( and he lives in Vale with his wife Aimee.  They have also blessed me with a grandson. I am very proud of my family.

I recieved my Bachlor's Degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University. My Master's Degree in Elementary Education came from Gardner Webb University.
