Career

I graduated from LaRoche College, Pittsburgh PA in June 2002 with a dual major in Elementary Education and Special Education with a minor in Psychology.  I moved to Taylorsville, NC the next month and was thrilled to start my dream job teaching at Hiddenite Elementary.  I taught 5th grade for 6 years, followed by 4 years in 3rd grade, 3 years in 2nd grade, 2 years in 4th grade, and have been currently teaching 1st for 2 years! 

Family

I have been with my wonderful husband, Thomas Kunf, for 23 years!  We were blessed with 3 wonderful children!  Autumn Angel Kunf was born in 2004, Thomas Lee Kunf III (T.K.) was born in 2007, and Jaxson Steele Kunf was our most recent addition in 2014!
