About Me

Exceptional Children 

My name is Anna (Annie) Smith and I teach Extend One students in a self-contained setting. I graduated in May 2021 from Appalachian State University with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education, Master's in Special Education, and a Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders. This is my second year teaching and I am very excited to still be teaching at ACHS. I am thankful for the opportunity to teach minds new knowledge every day, show compassion and create a positive learning environment for my students. I believe that each child can learn and should be given the opportunity to display their abilities.
