American History 

Welcome to Social Studies at Alexander Central! My name is Heather Brashear, I grew up in Alexander County, graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College and I'm in my 2nd year at ACHS. Previously I worked at West Alexander Middle School for 9 years. Teaching History is my passion. I can't wait to broaden my student's minds and excite them about the world around us. I have two children; Harrison is a Freshman at UNC Chapel Hill and Madison is a Sophomore here at ACHS. I love History and hold my students to high expectations in the classroom. We are going to have a great year!
