Artist / Teacher Bio: Kat Seno is a professional artist who began at the prestigious arts high school, Perpich Center for Art Education. She earned her BFA in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and MA in Teaching + Learning in Art + Design from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Through RISD, she studied internationally at the major London museums (V&ATate ModernBritish Museum, etc.), Mint Museum Uptown in Charlotte, National Gallery of Art in DC, with an assistantship at the RISD: Museum of Art. Twice, Kat has researched materials and techniques and made art at the Musee d'Orsay and Louvre in Paris, France. She taught landscape painting at the Lime Park Art Centre and Cottages that is just outside of Belfast, Ireland. More recently, Kat worked for six years as the Ryan Learning Center Assistant at the Art Institute of Chicago and lead-curated Chicago's I AM Logan Square gallery. Kat has invested the past two years as a founding faculty member at The Experiential School of Greensboro and assumed her newest role teaching art at Alexander County High School (ACHS) in 2020. 

Required class materials that need to be brought to class everyday: spiral bound sketchbook, Chromebook, pencil and eraser.
