Hi! My name is Marnie Wills. I started teaching in Alexander County in Special Education in August 2014. I love teaching Exceptional Children. I have a lot of experience teaching in a smaller, separate setting classroom.  My goal is to help each student to become as functional as they are capable of being.  My classroom mission is every day we will try our best, be kind to each other and be safe.  I promise parents that every school day, I will love your student; I will keep them as safe as I can; I will send them home; and hopefully, they will learn something.

Outside of school, I have a husband, daughter, and a dog! I love to read, eat ice cream, watch movies and sports.  I love Winnie the Pooh and Star Wars.  My family are huge UNC fans.

I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I received my National Board Certification in November 2011 and renewed in December 2022.
