This is my third year at East, and my eighth year of teaching.  I will be teaching 7th grade Social Studies. I previously taught in Charlotte-Mecklenburg, Gaston County, and the public schools of Boston and New York City.  Even though I am originally from North Carolina, I went to the City University of New York for a B.A. Economics, and to UMASS Boston for a M.A. in History. I previously worked in investment management for nearly a decade involved in trading, asset management, and financial planning.
