In the fall of 2013 ACHS and Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC) partnered together to offer a new College Transfer Cohort program to qualifying ACHS seniors . The purpose of this program is to allow students the opportunity to get an early start on their college degree and save money.Starting in the 2016/2017 school year the Cohort will become a Junior/Senior Cohort.

7 on each assessment for DMA 010 thru 060
Juniors & Seniors with a weighted GPA of 3.0 and meeting "College Readiness" testing requirements are eligible to take the pre-selected college transfer classes through the Cohort from the Associate of Arts degree pathway, college transfer credit towards a 64-hour AA degree to be completed at CVCC. Students will also earn one high school general elective honors credit for each course EXCEPT ACA 122.
