I grew up in Hickory, NC attending Catawba County Schools and graduated from St. Stephens High School. After high school, I attended Western Carolina University (Go Cats!) where I received a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. My first year out of college, I worked in the Hickory City school district. In 2016 I began working in 5th grade at Taylorsville Elementary. 

My goal as your child's teacher is to watch them grow and succeed. We are one family in this classroom and strive to keep a positive learning environment. I am excited to be your child's 3rd grade teacher.
