Hiddenite Elementary School

Hey!!  I’m Jenna Buff and I just completed my 18th year of teaching.  As I begin year 19, I will be your Instructional Coach, and I couldn’t be more excited!!  I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2002 with a degree in Special Education: Learning Disabilities and a Concentration in Psychology.  In 2003, I earned my Master’s degree in Reading Education from Appalachian and became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2009, with my focus also being Reading Education.  

I married my college sweetheart in 2005 and we now have 2 daughters and a fur baby.  Reese (15 years old), Harper (12 years old), and Toby (4 years old) keep us super busy with cheer, tumble, softball, volleyball, track, and of course their social lives.  In our free time, we love taking our boat to the lake, hanging out at the pool, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

I cannot wait to meet the new staff and catch up with those returning!!  We are going to have an AWESOME year!!  Enjoy these last days of summer and welcome to Hiddenite!!
