Welcome to the West Alexander Middle School 2022-2023 school year! I am very excited to be teaching 8th grade ELA and Social Studies here at WAMS this year! I graduated from UNCC in Charlotte, NC in 1991 with a BA in K-6 Elementary Education. In 2014, I returned to school to update my teaching license and add Middle School ELA, Math, and Social Studies to my content area. I reside in Alexander County with my husband Rodney. We have four children: Emily, Hillary, Rebekah, and Jeremy. We are also blessed with five grandchildren: Lawson, Maddox, Aubrey, Adley, and Lainey. I am looking forward to a year filled with many exciting adventures!
