Media Relations and Requests

Alexander County Schools and the district communications department recognize the news media as a partner in providing information to our community. We appreciate and respect the work of our partners and strive to provide timely information when possible.

Requests for statements regarding school district's decisions, policies, or events may be made directly to the communications director via email, text, or phone call.

In some situations, due to the volume of the request or related materials, media personnel may be asked to complete the Public Records Request Form.

Media releases will be posted on the district website via District Newsroom.
