What is Career and Technical Education?

Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides students with the skills, knowledge, and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners. CTE aligns education to the labor market demand and provides students with the technical, academic and employability skills they need for success. Career and Technical Education gives students opportunities to figure out what they are passionate about and want to do and not do after high school.

Why choose CTE?

Students learn skills that are applicable in both career and college, such as problem solving, teamwork, clear communication, planning, meeting deadlines, and collaborating.
