MS Career Exploration

Career Exploration Course
The Career Exploration course is designed to help middle school students explore college and career pathways and begin planning for their future. The pathways offered at the middle school level are intentionally aligned with the courses and programs available at Alexander Central High School, allowing students to see how their current learning connects to future opportunities.
The course uses Paxton-Patterson Labs, hands-on instructional labs that provide interactive, project-based learning experiences. Through real-world activities connected to careers such as engineering, health science, business, and skilled trades, students apply classroom knowledge while building critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. These experiences expose students to industry tools, technology, and career concepts that support informed academic and career decisions.
