Business & Computer Science Application Courses Offered

The Business and Computer Science Courses offered at the middle school introduces students to essential skills for success in today’s digital and business-focused world. These courses allow students to explore technology, business concepts, and problem-solving while building a strong foundation for future coursework in high school.

Students gain practical experience through Introduction to Office Productivity, where they learn to use digital tools for communication, organization, and presentations. In Computer Science Discoveries I and II, students explore coding, computational thinking, and creative problem-solving through hands-on activities and projects. Exploring Financial Literacy helps students develop an understanding of personal finance concepts such as budgeting, saving, spending, and responsible decision-making.

Together, these experiences help students build critical thinking, collaboration, and technology skills while connecting learning to real-world applications and future college and career pathways.
