Announcements

Parents...please plan to use multiple communication sources for weather-related information over the next few days. The school system will continue to use the automated call system to alert parents of school delays, dismissals, and cancellations. In the event you do not receive a call, you should also check the district website, district social media, WACB AM 860 radio, or Breaking News with the Taylorsville Times.
The likelihood that all surrounding school systems will also be making calls during the same timeframe is extremely high. This could overload phone lines and cell towers.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Early Closing of School
In case of snow or icy conditions which occur during the school day and cause hazardous driving conditions, school may be dismissed early. If school is dismissed early, announcements about school closings due to weather or other emergencies are communicated through a telephone-based notification service. This is our primary source for disseminating information to parents and staff. When possible, we also contact the following radio stations: WACB-AM (860), WKVS (103.3); and television stations: WBTV (Channel 3), WSOC (Channel 9), WCNC (Channel 36), WXII (Channel 12) and Fox News 18.Parents, please contact the office to update your contact information if it changes at any point in the year.
