Hello! I'm originally from West Virginia but have been in NC since 1993. I'm married with 2 daughters and 1 stepson. This is my 24th year teaching science in Alexander County. I'm a graduate of Lenoir Rhyne University and Appalachian State University with a B.S. in Biology and a teaching license. I enjoy hands-on learning since the world around us requires us to interact with our environment. My hobbies include teaching kickboxing & weight lifting classes and playing piano for church.

Students will always need to study past notes & tests at least 5 minutes 2-3 days a week in order to succeed on your 8th grade science EOG. Copies of the notes will be located on Canvas after we have finished a unit.
