Welcome to Eighth Grade Social Studies!  I am Mrs. Renee Jenkins.  This is my 23rd year teaching.  I am a proud graduate of Appalachian State University!  I am married and have 1 daughter, Mackenzie who is a college sophomore.  We are going to have a great year learning about United States History and connections to North Carolina History.  

Students can access all necessary assignments through Canvas.  Students should all have access to Canvas and use this website daily to see classwork, homework, test materials, remote assignments, etc.

As we navigate through the coming weeks, I will post assignments, materials, and class messages on this Canvas site.  If anyone has any questions, I can be reached via email. I will also attach directions on Canvas on joining "Remind" so we can communicate through text if needed.
