My name is Savannah Priest and I am so excited to be joining the Falcon family this year! I will be teaching 7th grade Social Studies and my planning period is from 1:17 - 2:39 in the afternoons if you need to reach me. 

I was born and raised in Alexander County and currently live in Stony Point. I am married and have 4 young children, ages ranging from 3 to 12 years old. My two oldest boys are on the Autism spectrum, so working with children with varying abilities is my specialty! I love to meet learners where they are and help them set goals and grow!  

I obtained my associate's degree from CVCC and my bachelor's degree from Gardner Webb University in 2010 and this is my 11th year teaching! I have previously taught 2nd grade at Stony Point Elementary and then Kindergarten-2nd with the Alexander Virtual Academy. I am excited about experiencing teaching in a whole new way this year as I adjust to middle school life! I will be working closely under the wing of Mr. Kennington and am looking forward to bringing history back to life for my students!
