I attended school, graduated, and reside in Alexander County. I am a graduate of Gardner-Webb University. I am married and have two daughters. My oldest daughter is a senior at Lenoir-Rhyne University and my youngest daughter is a freshman at UNC at Wilmington. I  taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade at Hiddenite for 15 years, and this will be my fifth year teaching 6th grade at East. This year I will be teaching 6th grade ELA and SS. 

I'm looking forward to an amazing year!
